Boarding: We specialize in providing full care board, both for retired horses and horses in active training. Board includes twice daily feeding of hay and grain/feed, turn out and turn in, bedding/shavings and daily (at least!) stall cleaning. Horses are checked every night. Secure tack storage is provided and use of all facilities is included. Additional services, such as grooming, blanketing, and holding horses for the farrier, etc can be arranged.
As a retired Army family, we understand the challenges of deployments and unaccompanied tours, and are available to provide quality personal care of your equine family members during these periods.
Daily riding: Includes use of rings, arena, trails and jumps. Coggins certificate and liability release required.
Lessons: Learn to ride in relaxed harmony with your horse! Melanie Southard, a USDF certified Instructor and Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalist, is available for beginner through advanced riding lessons at your farm or here at Postage Stamp Farm. She also has an FEI schoolmaster available for lessons.
